They are precious gifts from our spirit guardians and angels, and these dreams of ours carry important lessons we should pay heed to. Upon occasion, we receive dreams which perplexingly seem to be directed more toward someone other than ourselves, and we wake up wondering why on earth we dreamed what we did. Having dreams which hold messages for loved ones or acquaintances occurs for a number of reasons, one being that some individuals are not yet receptive to the deeper level meanings of their dreams. Other people are not inclined to recall dreams if they feel incapable of determining the true significance which the dreams contain. Sometimes, people may not avail themselves of opportunities to record nocturnal experiences, and are therefore unable to remember all of the salient details for longer than a short period of time. Individuals often do not take time to reflect upon the full import of their dreams. Still others simply discount their dreams as silly or inconsequential. Yet nothing could be further from the truth. Following is an example of just such a dream; one that came to me and which held a message for my sister Marie Elena. In this dream, I was walking along a public street and turned to see a vehicle barreling toward a car parked at the curb. The chassis of the speeding automobile was pink in color, and was shaped something like a PT Cruiser, but with a long, lowered front, akin to a race car. I began running toward the car, in an attempt to get the driver to slow down, but she did not notice me. As I watched in horror, the pink car slammed into the automobile parked at the curb; it did not appear that the driver had even tried to stop. I was shocked to see that the pink car had been driven by my sister Marie Elena. In the dream, I was on a cell phone exclaiming to someone that I had just observed my sister crash into another car! No one was hurt in this visionary collision, and once the pink car came to a stop, my sister turned to the male passenger on her right and told him it was his fault; that he made her do it. In dreams, vehicles generally represent a person’s primary method of transportation; it is the means by which a person reaches their destinations in life. The color pink denotes love in this instance, and is also a highly spiritual hue. This was a cautionary dream, and the message which Marie Elena’s spirit guardians wished to impart through me was that she needed to slow down a bit in certain aspects of her life, especially in the romantic area, or she might find herself “crashing” head first into a roadblock. At the time I received this particular dream, my sister had just started to date a new young man, and she was being warned to take things slowly. Rather than acting impetuously and going at a dangerous pace, the lesson was that she should keep her eyes wide open while navigating through the tunnel of love. For my part, it is both touching and fascinating to acquire information for other people in this manner. It is a tremendous blessing to be entrusted with such precious communications, and I would gently suggest that you strive to deliver the message to the intended recipient whenever possible. What that person does with the information, and whether or not they choose to act upon it, is up to them, but you will have fulfilled your responsibility as a messenger. Once you have opened yourself to being such an emissary, don’t be surprised if you receive a dream or two which contain messages for a friend, relative or co-worker. When you are called upon in this manner, know that you have been selected as a trustworthy courier; someone who understands the importance of dream communication. The next time this occurs, say a little prayer for the person for whom the message is intended, and then pass it on!
