"Reiki" is Japanese for Universal Life Force~~or spiritually guided energy. Reiki is a form of holistic energy healing, which is a gentle yet powerful way to purify and cleanse the body, mind, and spirit. The Reiki practitioner (healer) acts as a channel or conduit through which the healing energy flows. The session involves very light touch by gently placing the hands on or directly above the body. A person receiving Reiki energy may feel a variety of sensations, including but not limited to: warmth, heat, tingling, lightness of being, relaxation, and possibly visions or colors. The sessions are extremely soothing and are often described as a "spiritual massage." Immediate relief of physical symptoms is often experienced during a Reiki session, as well as alleviation of stress!

Distance Reiki healings are also available for persons not able to have an in-person session.
